Visit Balearics Islands!!

You can access the Balearics by charter flights from UK and the rest of Europe, by ferries from Barcelona, Valencia and Dénia, by catamarans, which run from the same mainland ports in the period mid-June to mid-September (but are more expensive than ferries). You can also fly from one island to the other such as Ibiza-Mallorca or even Mallorca-Menorca since the value can be lower than the ferry. Always though book a few days in advance to make sure you will find availability (especially in the high season)

There are regular flights to the Balearic Islands from key cities in mainland Spain. However, if visiting the islands is the only thing in your itinerary, then you don’t really have to fly in to mainland Spain to get to the islands. There are three international airports in the archipelago, in Palma de Majorca, Ibiza and Mahón.

There are many direct flights from most main European destinations, especially from the UK and Germany. And some airlines even have summer promotions that have planes flying in from Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and the USA.

Another way to reach the islands is by boat, which may take longer, but is more romantic. You can take in the beautiful sights and feel the breeze in your hair on an eight hour boat trip from Barcelona to Palma. In case you decide to go from one island to another, there are regular ferries that travel through the islands, or you can take inter – island flights (which are quite expensive!) And you don’t need to worry about the influx of people during the summer. Air and sea services have extra trips during the summer season.
