Balearics Watersports !
There are so many things to do in the beaches of Balearics - on water and underwater! Aside from just swimming in the sea or sun- bathing on land, there are different kinds of water sports to fit your liking. For those vacationing with the whole family, there are many water parks in the three islands to choose from. Water parks like Aquapark, Hidropark and Aquacity in the Mallorca; Aguamar and Agualandia in Ibiza; and Aqua Center and AquaRock Menorca in Menorca are family friendly parks as they mostly have playgrounds, restaurants, funfairs, Jacuzzis, and pools with wild slides to keep the children preoccupied. Low key activities like snorkeling can also be fun for the whole family.
For those who want some maritime enjoyment, Mallorca is the place to be. It has forty – one marinas and hosts the King's Cup in August, the Princess Sofia trophy at Easter, and the Rei en Jaume regatta in July. There are a lot of yacht rental services in Mallorca – it even has a mooring for 10,000 yachts! Don’t worry, Menorca and Ibiza also have nautical services too. There are also pedal boats available for rent. Most beaches and resorts on all the islands rent out banana boats, canoes, pedalleos, water-skis and jet-skis.
For the adventurous at heart, there are abundant windsurfing, parasailing and surfing equipment for rent in main beaches. And if you’re still learning, you can always find expert instructors or schools that teach windsurfing, parasailing and surfing on the main and crowded beaches of the island.
